Wiggle Vision · 3D Illusion
The "Wiggle Vision" 3D method simply involves alternating the view between two slightly different images of the same subject matter. In a web browser, this is easily accomplished with an animated gif, such as we have here, a flash applet, or a specialized java applet. Most people can get a crude sense of dimensionality from such images, however, the effect can be annoying, and it is not really true 3D. Search for "Wiggle Vision" on the internet and you will find several websites devoted to this phenomenon. |
