Looking more like a cross between ET and giant rats these hairless cats have been reported as originally coming from Latin America in 1830, and there are also reports of this mutation occurring in France, Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Australia, Canada, USA, Mexico, Morocco, Russia and Hawaii. Love 'em or hate 'em, they are certainly different - not just in appearance but also temperament, and they do require a little more care than the standard fluffy cat.
