Kris Kuksi
We came upon Kris's work purely by accident - our first reaction to the images before our eyes was WOW, what detail, what composition, what vision - Our second reaction was "Why haven't we heard of Kris before?". Well. perhaps now we can help make sure that Kris is as well known as he should be.
While comparisons will inevitably be made to H.R. Giger's works, such comparisons are only superficial - where Giger expressed his fascination with the "dark side of alien", in Kris's works you will note that it is the earth-bound cultures that are present and directing the flow - Hindu, Asian, Greek, Roman, European, Persian, Bhuddist, all darkly mixed with a splash of modern pop art and middle-age grotesque... totally absorbing and delightful to view.
