The desktop wallpapers featured below are in a chronological/alphabetical order from 2008 to earlier dates. This gallery does not represent ALL the hurricanes of the decade nor does it attempt to place the hurricanes in any order other than chronologically/alphabetically - and certainly these are not all the hurricanes that have passed this decade. While we have provided some basic facts about the hurricanes we have chosen these hurricanes for the stunning images that are available - and some of the original images are impressive - up to resolutions of 6,000x3,000. These large original resolutions we hope to present soon in a new gallery we are currently preparing along with our space images (up to 25,000x15,000 pixels resolutions) dedicated to "Extra Large Images" (56k Modem Killers) - Stay tuned. |
